🎸 Rosetta West Unleashes Mystical New Music Journey
Rosetta West is a blues rock band from Illinois. Their music frequently includes elements of psychedelia and world folk music, and their lyrical themes often venture into mysticism and spirituality. Their new release, “God of the Dead,” is a sprawling collection of raw and wildly diverse gems, including strange blues rock, punk and funk, emotional acoustic songs, piano ballads, and searing feedback instrumentals. On this latest release, founder and songwriter Joseph Demagore handles vocals, guitars and piano.
Mike Weaver takes turns with Nathan Q. Scratch on drums, and Rosetta West veteran Orpheus Jones takes over on bass. Guest appearances include bassist Louis Constant on “Midnight,” and drummer Caden Cratch on “Boneyard Blues.” Rosetta West has maintained a long, unconventional and fiercely independent underground career. They have fans around the world and their many non-Spotify releases are well worth seeking out on Bandcamp, YouTube, haunted shipwrecks, graveyards, and other platforms.

🎧 New Music Spotlight: Rosetta West’s Rock Ritual Unleashed 🎧
In the “God of the Dead,” Illinois -based band Rosetta West has removed a template of Sonic Fire, which ignites the soul of Rock. This album feels both timeless and precious, fusing the blues rock with a sign of psychidellia, Fank, and World Folk. Under the work of Joseph Demagore’s Hunting Vocals and Kriti Guitar, each track acts deeply in mysticism, spirituality, and raw spirit. From the serial feedback instruments to the melancholic piano Gathagit, the band fearlessly examines every corner of human experience and sound.
This giant collection is not just a record – it is a ritual. There is a stress of an artificial sleepiness between light and shadow, chaos, and clarity, which keeps the listener suspended in a trans. Whether you crave rebellious punk rhythms or achieve acoustic tunes, the “God of the Dead” provides some revelation. Rosetta West does not just play music – they add it. It is a fearless, style-educated journey that demands to listen to the heart with open.
