Gilgulim’s Spiritual Music Experience
Gilgulim is a Jerusalem-based collective driven by spiritual purpose and artistic ambition, bringing together a constellation of talented musicians united in their quest to channel transcendent energy into sound. At the heart of the project stands Eugene Kuzmin, the composer and multi-instrumentalist who provides vocals, guitars, keyboards, drums, and bass, weaving together the sonic tapestry that defines their distinctive approach.
Vocalists Vera Agnivolok and Natalia Belenkaya lend their voices to the ethereal soundscapes, while drummer Alexandr Binstein anchors the rhythm. The lyrical content draws from an eclectic range of sources, with contributions from Agnivolok, Binstein, and Kuzmin himself, alongside timeless texts from poet Alexander Blok and the ancient Psalms of King David. Recording in the sacred surroundings of Jerusalem, Gilgulim credits their creative journey to the spiritual guidance of Apollonius of Tyana, whose influence permeates their work and unites the ensemble in their shared mission to elevate consciousness through music.
