Flywheel – CryBaby Review 🎵
Flywheel‘s “CryBaby” wraps a tender confession in layers of echo-soaked guitar and dreamy, half-whispered vocals. From the primary strings, the music settles into that signature shoegaze haze — guitars washed until the rims blur, drums placed smooth and coherent under swirl This is the kind of music that seems to be performing through the fog: distant, warm, and strangely comforting. The male vocals sit low in the mix, more felt than heard, giving the whole piece an intimate, almost hidden scepter.
What makes “CryBaby” stand out within the dream-pop psychedelic shoegaze lineage is its moderation. The Flywheel does not pursue a big retraction or dramatic swell; instead, the track creates a mood and stays within it, believing the listener is immersed in the texture. There’s a quiet pain that goes to wander through him, a kind of nostalgia that feels sincere against what’s done. For fanatics of opportunity rock and psychedelic soundscapes, it really is a track to lose yourself in — atmospheric, sincere, and beautifully unhurried
