Steve Montgomery – “Living The Dream Right Now” 🎸
Living The Dream Right Now feels like sunshine caught on tape. Steve Montgomery leans into a warm mix of classic rock and power pop, drawing obvious inspiration from the melodic sensibilities of The Beatles and the harmony-soaked charm of the Beach Boys, yet carving out a sound uniquely his own It gives the feeling. His voice carries a confident, easy warmth that draws the listener straight into the mood of each song.
There’s a strong current of 80s nostalgia running through the record, but it never feels like an imitation — it’s more like a familiar feel reimagined with fresh production and heart. The singer-songwriter core keeps things personal and honest, even as the arrangements swell with real band chemistry. Living The Dream Right Now is an album that makes you want to roll the windows down and just let it play. A truly uplifting listen from beginning to end.
