🎵 TIRED: Birmingham’s Fresh New Music with a Dark Edge
TIRED are a Birmingham, UK band delivering what they describe as “depressed Dad Rock” with a sharp sense of humor and a healthy dose of midlife frustration. Their debut album, “Tales of Middle Age”, grew from a long-overdue creative itch and explores the boredom, absurdity, and mundanity of everyday life.

🎵 TIRED “Tales of Middle Age”: New Music with Garage Grit
I’ll be honest: a band calling themselves TIRED got me curious, and Tales of Middle Age rewarded that interest right away. Over 9 songs, the organization blends alternative rock with garage grit and a submit-punk pulse, and it never feels pressured. The guitars are scrappy inside in subtle ways, the rhythm section continues to change throughout, and the male vocals sound like a pal telling you about a long week over drinks.
What I love most is the warm temperatures under the noise. It’s a track about getting older, being 2nd-guessed, and somehow showing up anyway, yet it by no means sinks into melancholy. There’s humor here, and plenty of coronary heart, and the kind of hooks that stay in your head drive domestic. It’s an album that feels good in its own skin, that’s rare. Based on that being September 2026 out, it’s fresh and really worth some time. If you are experiencing loud guitars that have something real to mention, give it a listen this week. I think you might want to play it twice.
