🎸 The American Hotel System – Part One: Where Pain Will Lead Review
I pressed play while watching a decent rock record called Part One: Where Pain Will Lead, and then The American Hotel System gave me far more than that. This EP pulls from 90s rock, alternative, difficult rock, indie, and tender rock, and in some ways it all clearly fits together. The guitars hit hard when needed, then pull back and let the melodies breathe. Above him settled the sound of a male voice, genuine and authentic, a form of voice that admits you are true with every sentence.
What I love most is the mood. It feels like a late night drive with the windows down, slightly bruised yet full of desire. The hooks stay with you, the build stays easy with out losing its grit, and every track earns its place. Honestly, it’s the Miles type of release that rewards you extra every time you listen to it. If you grew up on rock radio or just crave songs with real emotion, this one belongs in your rotation. Give it a spin and carry you far.
