While still in grade school, me and my friend would mess around on FL studio and make beats all the time. X (Funky Flacco) and I (Revoh Wattz) would spend hours just making different beats and sending them to each other. Fast forward about 15 years later and he sends me a beat, which just happened to be the instrumental for Defcon 0. I thought “wow, I gotta do something with this”.
Almost instantly I heard the melody for the track. Before I knew it the song was written and recorded. We kept that momentum going and finished out album earlier this year, and I think it really shows our progression as artists as well as our specific styles.
