🎸 Discover ALIEN FRIENDS Solo Project: A Unique Musical Journey

In another incarnation, ALIEN FRIENDS plays guitar and sings in the Swedish band REDMOON. This is his solo project. In 2021 and 2022 RN-IDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS AND ALIEN FRIENDS released a single and a double album. The latter song, co-produced by the legendary David Myer (of the Merrymakers), brings together elements of power pop, folk, and indie rock. But while many of the songs may have roots in the i-music of the ’60s and ’70s, there’s still no melancholy here. The lyrics are sincere and poetic. Sometimes it’s funny. But always contemporary and honest. With 2023’s full-length album NO SWEETS FOR E, the project delves deeper into the soil of the ’50s (and Americana). It’s not British power pop), and upcoming singles and albums will test new musical directions. Or many of the older songs reflect Swedish folk music.

The new single – VÃRLDEN HÖR INTE PÅ (the Swedish version of the previously released Happy People Won’t Hear) – showcases the difference between upbeat and melodic music. And the lyrics are so intense near the end of the Beach Boys’ three-minute, Strauss Family 19-style bonanza that it becomes the waltz of the century. The irony became even deeper…

Discover Indie Pop and Rock Pop Magic in ALIEN FRIENDS Latest Song

ALIEN FRIENDS VÄRLDEN HÖR INTE PÅ (Swedish for Happy People Won’t Hear)’s latest release dives into a refreshing blend of indie pop and rock pop. The solo project of ALIEN FRIENDS, known for his work with the Swedish band REDMOON, reveals a unique touch – balanced rhythms and catchy rhythms with beautiful and contemplative lyrics. The new songs reflect contrasting moods. Where the melody feels light and fun. Although the topic is genuine and thought-provoking.

With a nostalgic pop flavor woven into a modern soundscape, VÄRLDEN HÖR INTE PÅ invites listeners to explore the irony and depth of its message with a lively, waltz-like finale. Reflecting the Beach Boys’ charm with a touch of classic pop fare, it’s for those looking for new music that feels timeless and fresh. This song can answer the question.
