Nashville-based singer-songwriter Ben Ripani has emerged from a transformative hiatus with a renewed creative vision and compelling authenticity. After returning to music in 2025 with the single “Weigh,” Ripani found himself flooded with an outpouring of songs and musical ideas that demanded to be heard. Originally from Chicago, where he built his foundation in the music scene, Ripani has reunited with longtime collaborators Chris Nakielski (piano, organ), Dave Marshall (bass), Patrick Benson (drums), and Frank Green (guitar), while also enlisting talented Nashville musicians Jay Gorman, Greg Lohman, Jennifer Wrinkle, and Jessie Gray.
This convergence of trusted musical partnerships has resulted in a deeply personal body of work that reflects years of lived experience and emotional excavation. Ben Ripani’s EP “Pangea” feels like a peaceful walk through old memories and wide-open landscapes, blending indies, melodic pop-rock, and Americana warmth Sound-pushed songs are simple but sincere, sporting a herbal singer-songwriter charm that in no way feels forced.
