🎸 Breaks: A Los Angeles Indie Rock Band Redefining Music
Breaks is an indie rock band hailing from Los Angeles, CA. The band began as a studio project of Damien Goyenechea then morphed into a live band that has made waves in LA over the past two years. They produce all of their records in-house, which gives them a unique gritty feel with saturated overtones. The band recalls sounds of The Clash, Velvet Underground, The Ramones and Thin Lizzy. The band also lists Joy Division and The Smiths as heavy influences. Breaks just released their latest EP “Hard TImes” on December 5th, 2024. The album was recorded at Screaming Leopard Studios in Hermosa Beach as well as Madqap studios in North Hollywood. The album was recorded over the span of a year . Breaks are planning to tour in 2025.
