Malmö-based band Egentid released their first single, Call You Back, on March 6, 2025 – a powerful introduction to their unique blend of folk-pop, indie, and modern melodies. Recorded at the legendary Tambourine Studios with producer Wallentin Rickardsson (The Radio Dept., Benjamin Gustavsson). Egentid has crafted a warm and dynamic sound where introspective lyrics meet strong melodies and a palpable presence.
The band – all new fathers – was formed during father meetups at Limhamn’s open preschool, where spontaneous encounters and lunches evolved into a creative collective. “There’s something about parenthood that makes you both more efficient and more eager to carve out time for yourself – your ‘egentid’ (personal time),” the band explains.
