Gardenback Introduces New Folk Rock Music
Gardenback have released their first single and their first EP, ‘The Fields Beneath’ is forthcoming. Their influences are broad, primarily folk and rock, but ranging to jazz, classical and ambient, and even incorporating aspects of breakbeat and jungle. Main inspirations include folk artists such as Elliott Smith, Big Thief, Ben Howard and Bon Iver, as well as others such as Radiohead. Their sound is often concerned with creating tension between light and dark moments.
