Ïgor’s Lisboa na Cabeça seems like a notion of the past that you can’t quite shake. It sits somewhere between occasional indie, R&B, and smooth pop, but it doesn’t feel adored in any way that it’s genre packing containers look to tick. Instead, it does the action with a peaceful, almost dreamlike float, carried through clean male vocals and a stripped-back production that keeps the whole lot intimate and close.
What clearly sticks out is the setting. Music and memory and nearby each seem to melt differently—Lisbon is not described. It is felt. There’s a gentle rhythm underneath, a mix of hip-hop-inspired pulses and airy textures, but nothing overwhelming with angst. Everything is herbically balanced, almost effortlessly.
As an EP, Lisboa na Cabeça works like a compact emotional journey rather than a collection of separate tracks.
