🎶 M & J Bring Soulful Energy to “NOT A LOVE SONG”
M & J caught my attention with “NOT A LOVE SONG” because it has a totally herbal sense to it. The track doesn’t try for too much quantity, and that’s part of what makes it work. The stay-band sound provides him with some real warmth, while the vocals provide a relaxed and confident persona in the song. I especially enjoyed the groove—this track gives an easy rhythm that makes you want to listen. There’s additionally a nice unfashionable force touch within the tune, but it by no means seems like M & J are really trying to recreate an old sound. 🎶
What I like most approximately “NOT A LOVE SONG” is how snug it feels.
