🎵 Mad Painter Music: Classic 1970s Rock Reimagined
Mad Painter is a Boston-based rock band devoted to the weight, drama and melodic ambition of classic 1970s British rock. Led by vocalist, keyboardist and songwriter Alex Gitlin, the group combines roaring Hammond organ, hard-driving guitar, muscular rhythm sections and layered vocal harmonies with a distinctly theatrical sense of arrangement.

Mad Painter Music: “Island Poetry” Album Review 🎶
I’ll admit it: Island Poetry caught me off guard as a first grader. Mad Painter made a record like Warm Night in 1985, yet nothing about it feels like a museum piece. The AOR polish is there, with large, smooth choruses, however you could hear the blues underneath, and a touch of glam and hard rock swagger in the guitars. The voice is deep coronary and full of heart, the kind that makes you need to sing along.
What I love most is the consistency. Soft rock and acoustic moments supply the album room to breathe, at the same time as a faint psychedelic haze adds a dreamy glow that maintains pulling me back for another pay attention. The pop-minded hooks live with you long after the music stops, and everything has that classic, undying sound enthusiasts of melodic guitar rock live for. Save for a long power-up, a quiet night, or a trip down memory lane. Give it a spin and allow the island breeze to do the rest.
