Ricardo Hoffmann: Exploring New Music With Saline Grace
Ricardo Hoffmann is the composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer of Saline Grace. Born in the eastern border town of Frankfurt (Oder), Germany, he founded his first band The Vagrants in 1994, becoming two years later, in 1996, the darkwave band Nobility Of Salt.

Saline Grace: “Weeping Wounds” Brings Dark Music
Saline Grace‘s “Weeping Wounds” strikes somewhere between a storm and a slow burn. It leans into opportunity rock with out leaving its deep roots, drawing from dark waves and up-mud and build something that feels extra like a temper than a track. The guitars are jagged in place, almost shiny, while the synths take a seat beneath the fog that is by no means quite clean. The male vocals do a whole lot of the heavy lifting right here, often slipping in some moments of fragile that feel like they’re daring you to look away.
The bassline creeps up against the drive, and the construction leaves just enough room for the tension to breathe. It’s not a song made for background noise; He needs your interest. By the intermission, “Weeping Wounds” feels a lot less like an unmarried tune, and more like a short film you didn’t realize you wanted. Saline Grace really knows a way to sit in discomfort and make it sound amazing.
