🎶 Sehore‘s Ladencia: A Bold Take on New Music and Harmony
Sehore is a newly created musical project that began its journey in 2025 with the release of its debut album, Ladencia. Its core concept is an alternative blend of songs composed with common chord progressions, contrasted with other harmonies that have traditionally been avoided in popular music—what some refer to as dissonances (as heard in tracks like Pesadilla, Mañana, or Vals). The music plays with kitsch and a deliberately sentimental style while avoiding emulation of any specific era, resulting in a fusion of rhythms from different periods. The album also retains certain background noises which, while reducing sonic purity, add a sense of natural authenticity.
Some lyrics, at times devoid of explicit meaning, serve as a mere pretext to accompany the melody. The language used strives to avoid sexism, and songs like Mariposa and Timba advocate for the rights of the LGTBI+ community, which have been unjustly denied. The track Tango stands as a manifesto against gender-based violence. Among the album’s socially conscious themes, Astrónomo and Safari reject aporophobia—the discrimination against the poor.
Ladencia was recorded at Paco Loco Studio and mastered at Kadifornia by Mario G. Alberni. The album is released under ℗ MusicHunters Records.
