TEANKO – “Between Two Selves” Review 🎸
There’s something instantly magnetic approximately “between two selves,” from TEANKO to providing a modern day. Mixing smooth rock warm temperatures with an unmistakable Eighties rock backbone, the music looks like a love letter to a bygone era yet sounds fresh and alive today The man’s voice conveys real weight and sincerity, utilizing smoothly over guitar traces that twinkle nostalgically. TEANKO is truly aware of what made the Assish rock so timeless, and here that knowledge is filtered through a current day, almost cinema-assisted production fashion that provides an atmospheric sheen to the entire track
What makes “Between Two Selves” stand out is its emotional honesty. Music doesn’t just pursue an unfashionable aesthetic for its own sake; It uses that gentle rock, eighties-inspired sound to explore something deeply human, the tension of who we were and who we are becoming It’s catchy without being shallow, polished without losing its soul. TEANKO has created a track that rewards repeat listens, and it’s clean to see that it’s finding a committed audience. An assured, memorable release.
