The Black Plague Doctors supply something a little ambitious and a little unsettling with “DYNAMITE! (Audio Cinema),” an album that seems like a political broadcast cut into chunks of hip-hop and experimental sound. It doesn’t behave like an ordinary rap mission—it works more like a gritty audio film, with every tune looking like a one-of-a-kind scene from a similarly chaotic international film. The production is dark, cinematic, and rough around the edges, mixing political hip-hop with electrifying distorted textures and nostalgic undertones that stick in your head.

What really stands proud is the ecosystem—it’s heavy, sweeping, and intentionally uncomfortable in instances, yet the same factor vocals provide urgency and mentality, switching between spoken-word depth and rap delivery that feels immature and porous.
