Mark Garvey: New Music With a Powerful Message
Mark Garvey is an independent DIY artist creating music, films, and multimedia entirely on his own. Blending grunge revival, punk, garage rock, and alternative rock, his music ranges from furious social commentary to introspective reflections on modern life.
Known for his unconventional approach, Mark creates his music exclusively in Adobe Premiere Pro and builds a visual world around each release through videos and artwork. His latest song, “Truck Fump”, is a raw punk-rock protest and anti-Trump outburst featured on his third album, “Blue Bone”.

Mark Garvey: New Music With Punk-Rock Energy
Mark Garvey doesn’t thumb around anything in “Truck Fump,” and that’s exactly what those pictures do. From the primary chord, the tune blasts right into a wall of face-melting guitar that owes an awful lot to the grit of grunge as much as it does to the mockery of punk. This is a tune designed to provoke a reaction, not clear things up — an angry, unapologetic blast of alt-rock electricity aimed squarely at political frustration Garvey channels real anger into something you’re sure to headbang with, which is no small trick.
What the unit does except “Truck Fump” is the same old protest song is its refusal to melt the message for comfort. The hooks are sharp, the vocals scream with conviction, and the whole thing barrels forward with a garage-rock urgency that by no means lets up. It’s rock as a release valve — messy, loud, and totally honest. For anyone who grew up on the rebellious fringe of British post-punk tough rock, this tune seems like a long-awaited punch to the gut. Mark Garvey doesn’t always play it safe, and “Truck Fump” is all the better for it.
