Darren Flynn’s latest single draws you in from the first strum, and we couldn’t possibly pass up. Built on warm sonic textures and an open, smooth-rolling rhythm, the track sits effortlessly at the intersection of alt-country and Americana, with just enough folk-rock grit to keep things honest Flynn‘s voice brings a lively, conversational tone — the kind that feels less like the whole show and extra Like a chum telling you a story over the porch railing. There’s a quiet pain that goes to wander through the melody, but it in no way tips it towards reconciliation drama; alternatively, stay grounded, patient, and, of course, exploring.
