🎵 New music: Laura Williams album
Nottingham singer-songwriter Laura Williams will release her debut album, Ready to Be Found, on 26 June 2026. A deeply personal collection of folk-inspired songs, the album explores themes of love, loneliness, self-discovery, vulnerability and second chances.
Produced and recorded by Nottinghambased producer and DJ Dom Navarra, formerly known for his work in house music and now focusing on folk and acoustic projects. The entire album was created in a makeshift studio in the couple’s kitchen at home. The result is an intimate and authentic collection that reflects not only their musical collaboration but also their story together.

Laura Williams’ “Ready to Be Found” album is one of these that feels definitely calm and sincere from the start. It’s built around a smooth sounding guitar and a gentle people sound, nothing overproduced or flashy, just easy and warm. Her voice clearly sits within the mix, just seeming to sit in a room and play these songs right in front of you
Lyrically and emotionally, it’s mostly figuring out yourself, dealing with change, and those quiet in-between moments where you still don’t have all the solutions Indie people and American influences, but they’re spread — more like angst than the style she’s trying to show. Everything flows in a completely natural way, without forcing big moments.
