Motihari Brigade’s new album “Problematic” is here to restore a defiant spirit of independent critical thinking in this age of artificially-curated digital algorithms. Feel vibrato electric guitar strings shake loose a world of illusions with lyrics inspired by the ideas of Orwell, Huxley, and Socrates. There is hope that Motihari Brigade’s brand of “Rock-n-Roll Thoughtcrime” can still save us – perhaps.

🎸 New music review: Motihari Brigade “Problematic”
Through Motihari Brigade, “Problematic” is definitely heat, clean-listening indie pop rock music with a nice retro connection to it. It has that smooth guitar-pushed sound that feels nostalgic yet yet fresh, like something you put on at some point of quiet strength or late in the afternoon Motihari Brigade voice can be very herbaceous and sincere, not overworked or forced or anything, which altogether makes the track feel extra unpublic and real. What I like is how easy and emotional the distance is without trying too hard.
The track just flows in a relaxing way, letting the melody bring the whole thing. The chorus picks up slowly, giving it a sense of freedom and forward shifting while not being overly dramatic in any way. The guitars have a smooth retro shimmer that ties the whole song together collectively well. It’s one of these songs that grows on you the extra attention it gives you and leaves you with a relaxed, barely emotional feel when it’s over.
