🎧 The Snow Ponies – Oh My God Review
“The Snow Ponies” – “Oh My God” has this recognizable indie feel that hits somewhere between old college Britpop and current alternative pop. It doesn’t want to sound too polished, which actually makes it more interesting. The guitars are available with that barely jangly, slightly tight tone, and the synths take a quiet seat below, adding to the mood instead of just taking over. Inside the structure, you can hear bits of put up-punk and indie rock, yet still keeping the pop sense of melody that clears for entry.
The vocals feel very sincere and real, not overworked or overly dramatic. That’s probably what makes the screen stick—it doesn’t try too hard to impress you. There’s a subtle groove running via it too, nearly disco-like but held returned. Love it ever at all we can get over. It seems like the kind that you don’t think an awful lot about before everything, but then after it’s over, it just stays with you. Simple, passionate, and quietly kind of addictive.
